Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2011!

I don't even know where to begin in this collection! it's so fabulous! Zac is definitely bringing forth dark edgy pieces with a hint of femininity to his new collection later this year. There's something very mysterious about these clothes that I just absolutely adore; maybe it's the dark leopard print or the bodycon dresses with harsh accents on the waistline. Something about this collection is definitely mind blowing. In my opinion, I don't too much care for the models they have chosen to present the clothes (nothing is unique or inviting about them) because the poses are awkward and contorted; gives off a little bit of a misleading shape to the dresses and bottoms. Overall, I'm so excited to see this collection hit the streets and in featured boutiques and clothing stores!

Karlas Closet

I adore this woman so much for her style! she takes different pieces from her closet and throw them on together and it comes out perfect! This lady is a genius when it comes to originality! She puts on basic jeans and a top and pulls together her looks with a bunch of accessories! I think her style is playful yet chic . Just fabulous!she's such an inspiration to me.

I get so excited when I see African-American high fashion models wearing something other than purple! --esp. in a magazine such as Interview. Solve Sundsbo did a great job with the black and white. The accents on their bone structure and tone with the white dresses flowing freely looks absolutely stunning !Credits to fakingfashion

Look at that neutral jacket with chocolate stitching (LOUIS VUITTON) paired with that bold blue and green striped button down! How beautiful is that? It's a perfect combination and a great way to play up neutral tones.

Back to Basics

I think some time or another we should take a step back from neon colors, sequins, and multi-colored accessories and just go basic! I know what you're thinking, OMG that's so boring! but if you think about it, wearing different colors everyday and going straight to simple denim and solid plain colors, you will definitely appreciate the pleasant change. Most likely you'll see basic all throughout the 2011! Here are some samples.
